Mohammad Habibullah Bahar Choudhury ((ベンガル語:হাবিবুল্লাহ বাহার চৌধুরী)) (1906–1966) was a politician and writer from East Bengal, who served in the political spheres of India and Pakistan.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Chowdhury, Habibullah Bahar )〕Publisher along with his sister Shamsunnahar Mahmud of the literary journal ''Bulbul'',〔(“Nirbachito Bulbul” Inaugurated in Kolkata ) Voice of America — November 26, 2005〕 his political offices included serving on the executive committee and as publicity secretary of the Bengal Muslim League, as vice-president of Siraj-ud-daula Memorial Committee, as a member of the Bengal Legislative Assembly and as the first Health Minister of the first Muslim League cabinet in East Pakistan.〔
He was a patron of erstwhile Young People's Association, founded in 1948. He helped in organizing Dhaka Inter-school sports under the patronage of United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
